Joe Dolan sadly died at the end of 2007. Joe and Roberto met in 1973 and Sweet Little Rock ‘n’ Roller was the first of many hits written and produced by Roberto that became successful not only in Joe’s native Ireland but all over the world. Lady In Blue won five gold records and subsequent gold hits followed with Crazy Woman, Sister Mary, Sixteen Brothers, You Belong To Me, Most Wanted Man In The U.S.A., Hush Hush Maria, More and More and It’s You It’s You It’s You. 
There are many appreciation sites but Roberto wanted to remember Joe here and thank him for having immortalized so many of his compositions and productions. Joe’s unique voice was inspirational and he feels privileged that, through Joe’s interpretation, his music continues to touch people all over the world. He hopes that the YouTube links below will evoke fond memories in those who knew him – and create interest and lasting appreciation in those who are only just discovering the great Joe Dolan.
