“Giuseppe Verdi’s ‘Va Pensiero’ has evoked emotions and pride from the day when I first sang this hymn in my school choir in Northern Italy. It has followed me throughout my life and identified me as an Italian living in London. I am now delighted to pay homage to the Great Italian Composer with my own version, with Lady Lafayette on trumpet, and hoping it will similarly stir emotions in people all over the world.” Roberto Danova.
