Antony Wolfson - So Do I
Introducing Antony Wolfson - The Singing Policeman
Antony Wolfson grew up in Bournemouth but moved to London in the mid 1980's to attend Central St Martins School of Art. After graduating with a degree in Fine Art, however, he found himself more drawn to his love of music and ventured out as a singer performing in north-west London's many bars and restaurants.
A career start in the Police in his mid-thirties found him quickly rising through the ranks and performing at Police charity events. He was spotted by Standing Ovation Music Management who have promoted him as the lead artist in shows at theatres, holiday parks and charity events.
Over a year ago, Antony performed at one of his regular venues where he met Roberto Danova, producer and owner of Plaza Records, who suggested that Antony should break away from singing cover versions only and instead record an original title for world-wide commercial release. He played him various tracks from his catalogue and Antony was immediately attracted to one title as it reflected a personal episode in his life.
We are now very pleased to introduce to you the debut single SO DO I - by Antony Wolfson - the Singing Policeman.
